He has some screwed up thoughts over what love should feel like, namely that there is always those butterfly feelings, and I am under the impression that those butterfly feelings naturally disipate.When Joe and I got together, he was under the impression that "love" means feeling that great blaze. Now, he says that blaze always ended with him being burning. He says falling in love in the past was like a burning fire. Falling in love now, is like having a bridge to support him. Butterflys do happen, but not always. Fire does happen, but not always. I tend to find that love which happens fast and furious doesn't last. It burns out like a blaze that had all the wood thrown on. Love that growns slow tends to be like ivy growing up a wall. You don't realize that it's growing, but suddenly you look and it's all over.
