So we dropped the iguana off at the
East Bay Vivarium. They were pretty okay about it, very businesslike. I get the feeling people drop off abandoned reptiles there with depressing regularity. Thanks, by the way, to
micahra and
kellcrow7 for the responses. Sorry I didn't reply; my life got a little self-complicated around that time.
IN OTHER NEWS: Well, there's not a lot of other news. I'm voluntarily unemployed at the moment, which is overall probably a bad thing, but affords some mild entertainment when people ask me things like "So what's your plan?" and I say "I don't really have one." Sidelong looks and doubletakes are the most common reactions. I haven't gotten anyone to do a spit-take yet, though. Gotta work on my timing there.
IN STILL OTHER NEWS: I jumped onto blip.fm after
ultraluxe posted something about it on facebook. It's really a better implementation of the social-sharing-music website concept than last.fm was; I've already found three or four new artists that I like, and for the past day or so I've been listening to
this a lot. (Be careful of some of the remixes that are linked from there, by the way. Frackin' strange people on the internet, sometimes.)
Now I go to do useful, productive things. Srsly.
