So I started off with good intentions. I put on the running gear and donned my fancy running watch (courtesy of Mum and Dad for Christmas) and went off for a run.
Elder came with me as the intention is that we will take part in the Thorney 10k. We decided to go for 5k... You know, start small and build up.
When we finished we were really pleased with ourselves that we had jogged the whole way. However, I soon discovered that what I had thought was a measurement of km on said watch was actually in miles. So we did a lot more than originally thought. Only need to add on another 2k and sorted! Major problem now is that my feet have suffered terribly... No more running for a while :-(
