He came by a month ago and told us we can't have the piece of plywood sealing our air conditioner in the window, because the apartments have to have a "uniform" appearance, so it has to be a plexiglass. I ignored him and he came by again today with a piece of paper that is just some pre written form, addressed to no one, that says "this letter is written in response to your request to install a window air conditioner... If the sliding windows must be removed, residents are to replace it with a clear piece of plastic. Plywood or cardboard is not acceptable."
However I did not remove the window. It's not replacing a window, the wood is just there so my air conditioner fits. If that makes a difference.
So I'm totally ignorant, what will they do, fine me if I ignore them?
