Managed to get it done by half-past midnight - hey if we're going strictly by longitude instead of politically-adjusted time zones, it would have gotten in by midnight, so there.XD

I wonder if anyone will recognize the place he is walking past. I am shamelessly one-dimensional.
mmmmmmnot happy with this on the whole... the pencil/ink work and the attempt at a background, not working. This was an experiment in a watercolor kind of finish - I was messing with opacity and transparency - but everything ended up drowned out by the rain. Which was the *idea*, but still, I wasn't planning to make it so overwhelming... and yet when I tried to lower the opacity it didn't quite work either.
Also possibly contributing to the overall murkiness of the piece is the pounding headache that I had after eating at Kim Gary's last night, so I couldn't focus properly. Only posting it here this morning because all I could do after posting to ichi_ruki last night was crawl into bed and hope the headache would go away.x_X
