Since i can't sew this weekend, I got started on weaponry.:D Beginning with something easy -
Zangetsu!
...sort of. I just carved the shape out of the balsa I bought this week.XD Still, I like how it's instantly recognizable even without the coloring and the hilt wrap. And Ichigo can actually hold it all by himself. I had the Blu-tack ready just in case, but it fits perfectly in the space between his thumb and fingers. (I'd like to say that I took careful measurements of Ichigo's hands and carved the handle to its exact proportions, but it was really dumb luck.)
Ichigo seems to like it. Hefts it easily (it weighs as much as a sheet of paperXD). Typical Ichigo pose!
Just for kicks I let Rukia hold it. Yes, Zangetsu is taller than Rukia in "real life."
When I examined the picture more closely I was a little taken aback. OK, is it just me or has her expression completely changed? Close-up:
My sweet little princess looks like she's out for blood! I better hurry up and make Shirayuki! ^^;
