I was wondering why "Change the World" sounded SO DAMN FAMILIAR and then I realized that it was an Inuyasha OP. or ED. one of them. Geez, I haven't thought of that for so long. ...yah, I actually used to like Inuyasha, until I got tired of the same old
routine: Inuyasha and co look for another jewel shard, come upon a new enemy, Inuyasha and Kagome have a spat, Kikyo may or may not show up but either way Kagome is insecure that she's not Kikyo and emos, and Miroku asks yet another woman to bear his child and gets slapped by Sango. There is a big fight and Inuyasha learns another technique. Inuyasha and Kagome clear up their misunderstanding, but the episode invariably ends in her abusing the "OSUWARE!" power.>.> Lather, rinse, repeat.
The thing I both like and hate about Takahashi's pairings is that they are very clear-cut from the start, which makes it less heartwrenching to follow because you KNOW Inuyasha and Kagome are going to end up together (somehow... I just can't see Inuyasha going back to Kikyo at the end of all this, though they might pull a "this all took place in the past anyway, so it changed the future" and Hojo becomes the reincarnation of InuYashaXD), ditto Ranma and Akane, ditto Godai and Kyoko, ditto Miroku and Sango... but they so quickly fall into the Moonlighting rut. (I wonder if anybody remembers Moonlighting?XD) ... um, where was I? Anyway, I remember that the anime got canned, but the manga's still running... I think... and Rumiko Takahashi's still the richest manga-ka in the world.XD ...or is that Toriyama? It sure ain't Kubo.:P
ANYWAY. I need to go look for electric guitar diagrams now, I want to carve a Fender for Ichigo.:3 I haven't decided what kind of musical instrument Rukia would play. I'm partial to the
xiao ruan. ...she's NOT getting a piano.
