So is it necessarily fair when you've had friends (that don't like your character) more or less literally say you shouldn't post about or defend your favorite character on a fandom forum because you're the only one who cares and your view on the character isn't canon and apparently isn't worth hearing?
Because this has happened to me multiple times. I know they're probably right in my case, but still. It stings. I feel like it isn't fair that just because my tastes and views aren't the majority means they shouldn't be heard. I also know I overreact to shit and blow things out of proportion, but considering it was more or less worded like that I feel like they're being a bit too harsh.
This makes me feel too many things, none of which are positive.
What do, guys? Sorry about yet another whiny rambley post about shit I shouldn't take as seriously as I do :/
