You have no IDEA how happy I am to find a community like this. This has totally made my morning (and I have zannechaos for pointing the way). ^^
Since it seems to be the general thing to post our list of the characters others like to hate...
Relena Darlian, Gundam Wing: I have yet to see a really good reason for people bashing Relena, and it has become my quest to stomp on it wherever I find it (a foolish quest, I know, but the matter bothers me a lot). When you think about it, the "arguments" that the bashers come up with are just grasping at straws. Not to mention she's just kind of vital to the plot at large. Just a small detail, that.
Dorothy Catalonia, Gundam Wing: No, she's not psycho. No, she's not a murderer. Yes, she's probably had some rather dubious guidance on the part of her grandfather, which has given her some issues. Yes, she can be catty and sarcastic. But that is part of who she is; she's a catalyst, and she makes things happen. She questions Relena's motives and ideals. Suddenly this is wrong, how? Since when are we not allowed to disagree with someone's beliefs?
Allen Schezar, Escaflowne: I noticed someone else listed Allen on their list, and I agree with their reasonings. If he were REALLY that big of a male-slut, then he wouldn't be as respected by his crew as he is. Obviously he's doing something right, and must have some sort of honor, because soldiers don't give that sort of loyalty to a commanding officer just because.
Yuuki Miaka, Fushigi Yuugi: I can't quite figure out why people hate her so much. I mean, I can understand the little reasons, because she is rather annoying, at the outset of the series, but she changes and matures volumes in between the beginning and the end.
I KNOW that the list is longer than this, but being that I am typing this on borrowed time while at work, I've been interrupted several times...so this will do for now. ^^;;;
