He'd been burned once, in SEED, by his own father no less -- and in Destiny, Gilbert offered him such a convincing idea [you will have total control of what you do and can lead this war and your life how you want] that he didn't know what to do. When things seemed to be going bad, he wondered if he was making the right decision.

Hell, regardless of how Gilbert turned out in the end, he DID say things that MADE SENSE, most of which I still agree with, much like Klueze.

Neither is Lacus. Not that you see many of them to start with and the ones I've read were for other purposes, but most attempts I see at a storyline with any kind of conflict it's like "OLOL WE SAVE THE DAY SO EASY".

He's portrayed as such in so many fics of every genre.

Well, I've seen how people complain that she's 'too perfect' but it's the "ZOMG KIRA IS A GODMODDER" that irks me.

So much effing word to your post. Thank you so much for creating this. I really hate Fllay bashing and Tolle bashing the most especailly Tolle bashing. Tolle was nothing but a good man and did absolutely nothing wrong to deserve his treatment. I know some people think that he's just not hawt enough for Miriallia, but if that's the only reason (general) you hate him than out of my fandom kthx bai.

Poor Fllay, I can relate to her in someway. I have a strange obsession with my fashion. I'm not entirely helpless in situations like she is, but I still can see why she felt so powerless to do anything. She wasn't really skilled in the military field, and could do no more than basic chores (no I don't mean this as an insult, I think one of the fascinating parts of her character was that she was helpless even though she tried not to be so).

And I apologize for spelling mistakes. I'm too lazy to run them through spell check right now.
