Neither is Lacus. Not that you see many of them to start with and the ones I've read were for other purposes, but most attempts I see at a storyline with any kind of conflict it's like "OLOL WE SAVE THE DAY SO EASY".

He's portrayed as such in so many fics of every genre.

Well, I've seen how people complain that she's 'too perfect' but it's the "ZOMG KIRA IS A GODMODDER" that irks me.

...I can't see him as one. Maybe because I don't read fics often D:

True. But yeah, and they really don't help that with the whole "Shinn cheated when he won that time" thing.

I read fics and I feel the same. u_u;

Hey wait. So they complained about Kira pwning everyone and then after that they complained again when Shinn beat him? *throws hands up* What cheating, that was purely strategy D: See why I stay away from forums unless someone points out certain threads to me :D

I can't even see him getting himself into a romantic situation, or him sitting at a dinner table with a vase of red roses and... yeah.

Yep, that's exactly what they did. XD Which was gold. Apparently thinking out a way to beat your enemy and studying their moves is totally underhanded and wrong.

It can work, if done right, but sadly in most cases it just falls into "OMG I LUV U" (nooo) which only makes very few fics out there worth reading. XD But yeah no, I picture more of a family dinner thing in that case, which falls into genfic. XD

You can never please the SEED fandom. XD I've liked Shinn with ever since the first episode and you could say I was pretty offended when they bashed him a lot (although they then start bashing Kira and Athrun and then Meyrin/Fukuda/Morosawa).

Eh. XD I don't like "I love you" fic, I don't really know why. My AsuShinn fics have no mention of "I luv u" whatsoever XD It's strange, I don't mind it when they make out aggressively in fics, but when they start confessing their 'undying love' I will sweatdrop.

I love Shinn too! But heh, bashed? People still go around and bash him. D: It's sad.

I'm not a big of that either. XD Unless it's REALLY good otherwise, and winds up making sense and not seeming lame or OOC, which again, is pretty much nonexistant. XD
