Villians need love too...

As strange as it may sound. I generally love most villians in anime. In my opinion, they keep the storyline interesting and add suspense to the story. There are a lot of villians out there who are very much disliked, hated, and misunderstood. I can understand for the most part why several people may not like them. Most of them aren't meant to be ( Read more... )

Don't feel too embarrassed about admitting you're a villain fan. There's no doubt I myself am a sucker for them ^_^;; Large majority of my favourite characters fall into the bad guy category. Give me an interesting series and I'll usually fall for the antagonist 90% of the time XD. Villains really do keep the storyline intriguing for the fans ^_^.

Dilandau Albatou makes insanity so cool. He shows his craziness well. A bit like Yagami Iori from the King of Fighters games, although Iori is misunderstood and an anti-hero. Vicious is one of those men who has an aura that pulls fans in helplessly. What I mean is, you can't figure out why you are fascinated in someone like him. You just do in an odd way...

I often become very sympathetic around the villains who had tragic pasts and at times can really relate to them, which may sound rather wacky to some. A few of these people end up being the misunderstood type. I have a large list of villains who I adore so it would obviously be too long to write the names out in one go ( ... )

Yay, a fellow villian fan such as myself. I definately agree that they do keep the storyline interesting. Dilandau is one crazy bastard, but in good way. I too have lots of villians that I like (Kagura from InuYasha, Knives from Trigun, Legato from Trigun, etc.). Oh yeah and villianesses (female villians) are always good too. See Kagura from Inuyasha. I too, often feel sympathetic towards villians, often times towards the end of their demise. I don't watch much Yugioh, but I've always considered Kaiba more of an anti-hero. Similar to that of Vegeta from DBZ.

Yes I too have this thought. I didn't realise Vegeta had an interesting side to him until I watched later episodes. After observing his actions, I soon understood why there were quite a few fans of this Saiyan prince.

Vegeta is considered to be the most popular character on the show and has the biggest fanbase in DBZ. Yeah, I agree he is a pretty interesting character.

Dilandau- even before I knew all the crap he was going through I still felt bad for him. He seemed like he was genuinely bonkers.
