The Fifth Death: Water, water, everywhere...

It's a shame that the wide range of functions on these devices seems to have been limited to simple text. While I am quite comfortable with the written form, and am even getting used to these very small buttons fairly well, it was nice to have those other options as well.

The snow seems to have stopped, for now. Now begins the slow process of clean-up. Less tedious than waiting out the snowfall, to be sure, though more work. Do we know if there's any way to, perhaps, divert the melt-off to the lake or other low-lying body of water? It could prove useful, to have such water stored, if the summers in this place prove to be as harsh as the winters have proven to be.

Provided any of us will still be here, come summer.

baby it's cold outside, something like normal, figuring things out, not a social butterfly, planning in advance, such a teacher, can has comforts of home?
