The Fourth Death: The Long Goodbye

[Susan has set herself up in a fine, if bare, room of the chateau, a fire in the fireplace illuminating the room, for this goodbye video post.]

Home, what a relief. No more blizzards and strange voices--other than the ones I'm used to, that is. And to be able to be properly myself again, instead of so infuriatingly nearly normal.

[For a woman who doesn't display too much emotion, Susan certainly seems happy to be going home. At least until her face calms back down into something more like her normal near-sarcasm..]

If they really do send us back. Oh, I've no doubt they're powerful enough, if they can alter and obstruct me as well. That aside, whether or not they truly would is a matter of debate. On the one hand, they do seem... capricious. Emptying out the place of all of us in order to pull new people in may, in fact, be their motivation. They would certainly relish new... 'toys'.

Alternatively, they may simply be attempting a sort of social experiment, seeing how each of us reacts to this sort of situation. What goodbyes we make may not matter to them, though it will, likely, amuse them for a short time.

That said... [She looks contemplative for a moment before offering a faint smile to the PCD] Will it amuse them or no, I thank each of you for the welcome and hospitality you have shown even a stranger such as me. I am, whether we stay or go thirty-two hours from now, grateful.

[The feed cuts off]

baby it's cold outside, event, far from home, something like normal, at least my hair hasn't failed me, saying goodbyes, death vs the animus, can has comforts of home?
