That's absolutely not true at all. Whitman's tumor is the subject of some debate. And, I tend to side with Whitman, in that he noticed the demarcation from relatively sane to batshit himself. If it wasn't the tumor, it was something.
As for the rest, you're obviously entitled to your own opinion. (especially in your own journal) But, unless you're joking, I tend to think you're full of shit there too. People describe real phenomena differently and contextualize them differently depending on the perspective of the culture and the best available information. If you're going to penalize people for armchair "diagnoses" (or anything else) you're going to have to paint all of humanity with that brush. As that sort of sidemouth rubbish is a feature of us all.
Ex. Autism Spectrum disorders are real. And, many people with autism and aspergers really suffer and require a ton of treatment. This is not to suggest that someone who is merely "socially awkward" wouldn't or hasn't been misdiagnosed. But it is to suggest that socially awkward people might sometimes be called "a bit aspy', by casual observers, instead of dorky. a loser, or whatever simply due to this new "understanding".

Calling it a disorder is calling groupthink normal, so you seriously need to examine your own philosophy of life for signs that you may be willing to rationalize execution of people who disagree with you.
