This morning a woman came to my door selling magazines. I have to give her points, because instead of running in fear when a white person showed up at the door, she asked me if I could read Japanese and then tried to sell me some magazines. So, today was the opening day of the Expo. They made us stay late after all the regular guests left, because there was a big VIP reception going on upstairs. So we were hanging around in our exhibit space, showing off for all the VIPs, and a guy comes up to me and starts talking. This morning I finished college.
This afternoon I had my last shift at Transit.
Tomorrow I'm leaving the Farmhouse.
In 10 days I'm leaving the country.

It really hasn't quite sunk in yet...

It's official... I'm leaving from Boston at 8:35 in the morning on January 1st, and arriving in Japan at 3:45 pm the next day. I'm a little disappointed that it's so soon, I was hoping to do stuff for New Years, but it's good to finally know.

I was going through my old letters and stuff today (I save everything) and reading stuff that my friends wrote to me as many as 7 or 8 years ago, and realizing how awesome you all are.
