Big news!
So... I figure this is as good a way to spread gossip as any. I have two big huge neat things to tell everybody.
Thing the first:
I'm going to Japan!
The first week of January, actually. Apparently they still do world's fairs, and the one this year is in Nagoya, Japan, and the U.S. Pavillion wanted tour guides, so I applied and got accepted. I'll be going to Hikone first, to the Japan Center for Michigan University where I'll take a two month cram-course in customer service Japanese, then in mid March I'll be moving to Nagoya to work at the fair. I'll be there until October, and I'm incredibly excited about it. You should all come and visit me. :-)
And then, the second thing:
I'm getting married!
Yep. Bryan and I have been talking about it for a couple of months now, and he finally came around and decided that maybe raising a family wouldn't be such a bad thing, so now we're engaged. Wedding sometime in 2006, since for almost all of 2005 I'll be in Japan. :-)
So yeah, that's it. Naomi's big life-altering freaking scary but cool at the same time news. Be well, everybody.
