This week has been awesome! So I wanted to write it down to remember that good things do happen on occasion. First off I love my new roommates! We just hang out together and have so much fun. And this week was rush week so we went out a couple of times with the frat guys. My roomate Katey is dating an AGR so we mostly hung out with them. Always a good time. Then last night Rick called me up and we went to the Dame and saw The Rudies. Rick works with the drummer. They were actually pretty good. Better than some professional bands I've heard. I wish I could get a hold of there CD. Anyways today was busy but tonight was even busier. I met up with my friend Matt and common grounds and we played a game of chess. We played the same game for over an hour. And at the end I made a stupid move and he beat me. grr. I'm calling him for a rematch. Then my friend Dave was celibrating his birthday at McCarthys so I met up with him. My friend Nick came to so I wasn't there by myself. Then as we were going to leave Nick had been talking to these foreign guys. One from Russia and one from Australia. Well the Australian guy looks at me and says "You go to UK right." So I said yes. Then he said "are you taking physics?" again I said yes a little creeped out. Then he said "I remember you. You're in my class. We sat nect to each other the first day. I remember your eyes." That was awesome. HOt Australian knew who I was. School is going well and I love my project! I love being in the lab and doing my own research for once. NO one tells me what to do, I just do what needs to be done. So I know my journals are usually bitchy and depressing but right now life is good and I want to remember the moment. Also earlier this week the land lord was showing our house to people interested in living here next year. Well one of the girls saw a newspaper article I tore out of the Kernal and posted on my wall. It was for the service at Calvary Baptist Church because I want to start going again. Well she asked me if I went there and I said no but I wanted to. Then she said she just joined the church and so when I go sunday she wants me to sit with her. I think God wants me to go back to church because the reason I hadn't gone before is because I didn't want to go by myself. So life is good and I just wanted to write it all down.
