We had snow this morning! After breakfast I looked out, and this gloppy mostly-rain stuff was coming down, but 20 minutes later it was real snow! And it kept coming down all morning. It was thick and coming down hard, and when I took the boys out, we found that it was actual wet, packable snow! I haven't had suitable snowman-snow like that ( Read more... )

This morning there was still snow on the ground, but I just went outside and it's practically balmy! :) Plus, right now there are two bluebirds, a mourning dove, and a Carolina wren in the backyard, after seeing nothing but crows and robins for weeks ( Read more... )

There was actually snow on the ground this morning - even on the roads! :) The boys had lots of fun with their trucks, pushing it around. :) They played with the neighbor kids and tried to make a snowman, but the snow didn't pack well. SAM had fun throwing it out of a shovel to make a snowstorm, though. :)
