Update!
Alright, so I know I said I'd post earlier and keep you updated, but I got a bit distracted and didn't get the chance. So here's what's happened in the last week.
The appointment the day after my last post wasn't very good. My blood pressure was 180/100. I asked about the urine results and they didn't have them. So I got sent over to the hospital again. They hooked me to the monitors and ran a litre of saline into me as fast as possible to help it out. It didn't really work, my blood pressure kept going up and down, so they decided to give me some medicine through the IV. It helped. My blood pressure went down to 132/68 or so and stayed there. So they were able to send me home with some blood pressure pills. And they weren't able to find my urine results.
I had another appointment on thursday and while my blood pressure wasn't excellent, it wasn't horrid either. And they finally had the urine results. They've officially dianosed me with preeclampisa. They didn't have to send me to the hospital that time either, so yay!
So I get to take the blood pressure medicine everyday, stay on bed rest and go in to th doctor's office every tuesday and friday until it's time to deliver me. They're hoping that I can make it to my due date, but if anything changs for the worse, they won't hesitate to induce me now that I'm 36 weeks. And if I make it to 37 weeks, they might just induce me at the first sign that anything might change.
And on top of it all they did the group b step test and I tested positive. Which is really not that big of a deal. It just means that while I'm in labor, I get to have antibiotics.
On a happier note, the baby shower was a huge success! I got all sorts of neat stuff and only have to take like two things back. I didn't get any doubles or too much of any one thing.
