Author's Note: Well, since my chapter 9 turn out to be longer that i expected, so i divide it into two parts. And the second part will be post either tomorrow or the day after. So, enjoy...
Tatsuya, Ryo and Tomoyo are sitting on the couch at Tomoyo’s living room. Tatsuya and Ryo sit side by side while Tomoyo sits facing them.
“I really think you should tell Tackey about the baby, Tomoyo.” Ryo says to Tomoyo. Tatsuya nods in agreement. Tomoyo rolls her eyes. She knows this topic will surely come up now that Ryo knows about too.
“It’s not that I don’t want to tell him, but I don’t how to. It’s not I can just say; Hey Tackey, remember the night we had a month ago, guess what, I’m pregnant. Oh, there’s another thing, I’m a vampire and usually it’s not possible for a human and vampire to conceive a child but apparently because I, myself born out of prophesy, so somehow my body allow it.” Tomoyo says sarcastically.
Ryo scoots near to his lover before whispering, “What happen to the sweet and funny Tomoyo?” Tatsuya looks at his boyfriend before whispers back, “I don’t know. She’s been like this since we’re found out she’s pregnant. And sometimes she cried without a reason too.” Tomoyo throw them a glare. “I can hear you, you know.”
“Ok…ok…sorry. So, what are you going to do?” Ryo asks.
“I don’t know. I want to tell him, I know he deserves to know but I’m not exactly normal, am I? I’m a vampire, for goodness sake. What if I told him that and he hates me and the baby?” Tomoyo says before bursting into tears.
“See, I told you so.” Tatsuya whispers to Ryo before standing up and choose to sit beside Tomoyo. Hugging Tomoyo close to him, he says, “Look Tomo, why don’t we cross that when it happen. I think right now why don’t you just tell him that you’re pregnant with his baby. If he doesn’t want you, then it’s his problem. You’re not at fault. And I want you to remember that you will always me, Pi, Kazu and our family to support you. I know Pi might be mad for a while, spurting fire here and there but he will always help you, ne.”
“And I will help in anyway that I can too.” Ryo interject. Tomoyo looks at her best friend, and then at his boyfriend, smiling gratefully at both of them.
“Thank you, both of you.”Tomoyo says. “Should I tell Tackey first or Pi?” Tomoyo asks Tatsuya for a suggestion. Before Tatsuya could answer, Ryo cut him first.
“I think you might have to tell your brother first because Tackey is out of town. He’s going for an outstation. He is only going to come back here next week.”
“That’s mean I’m going to tell Pi about it first. Well, we’re going to mine and Pi’s mansion this weekend right, for Kazu’s birthday.” Tatsuya nods. “Then, I’m going to tell him after the celebration. And next week, I’m going to tell Tackey about it.” Tomoyo says, reaching for conclusion.
“That’s a good idea.” Tatsuya agrees. “It settles then. Well, I’m hungry. Who wants to eat? My treat.” Tomoyo says cheerily. Tatsuya just shake his head at Tomoyo’s mood changing. Then he and Ryo walk toward the door following the pregnant vampire princess. Ryo leans closely against Tatsuya and whispers. “You know, I read somewhere before those pregnant women always change moods because of their hormone. I bet that’s why her mood is changing all the time.”
“I heard that, Ryo-chan.” Tomoyo voices calls from the outside.

Tomoyo and Tatsuya is at the headquarter as Tatsuya claims he had forgotten Kazu’s present at the headquarter when he met his father the day before. Tomoyo and Tatsuya are actually on their way to Tomoyo’s private mansion for the celebration of Kazuya’s birthday. It’s actually a tradition for them to celebrate Kazuya’s birthday just the four of them first before the real party at Kazuya’s home the day after that.
When they are on their way out, they meet with Duke Higurashi who coincidently is also there with his daughter, Marina. They greet the Duke as usual but when Duke Higurashi turns to greet Tomoyo, his eyes narrow slightly before widening a bit which completely freak Tomoyo out but she didn’t show it. Meanwhile Marina clearly chooses to ignore Tomoyo and continue to try and seduce Tatsuya. And of course it won’t work because Tatsuya ignores her completely.
“Sorry to cut this meeting short but Tomoyo and I have to go, Duke Higurashi.” Tatsuya says.
“Oh yes, of course. Have a safe journey, my prince.” Duke Higurashi says as Tatsuya and Tomoyo are leaving. Marina pouts and looks at her father.
“Papa, why did you let him leave? How am I supposed to make him fall for me if I hardly see him? And that Tomoyo, she’s always by Tatsuya-sama side whenever I want to seduce him.” Marina whines.
“Don’t worry my princess. You will have him eventually. I will make sure of that.” Duke Higurashi says with a confident smirk.

Tatsuya and Kazuya sit side by side, talking to each other while the twin are arguing about who know what.
“Tomo sure eat a lot today, ne” Kazuya says to Tatsuya still amazes at the food the lady protector consumes. Tatsuya just nods in agreement. It’s not like he can tell Kazuya about Tomoyo being pregnant. After all, Tomoyo didn’t drop the bomb to Tomohisa yet. Suddenly, the door of the dining room slam opens. Tomoyo and Tomohisa stop their argument while Kazuya and Tatsuya look up, startled with the sudden intrusion.
“My Lords, my Lady, the mansion is under the attack. There’s about 25 Hunters outside, equip with all sorts of weapon.” The guard reports.
“WHAT!!? How did they know about this place? How did they found us?” Tomohisa exclaims.
“I don’t know, My Lord? What should we do now, Lord Tomohisa?” The guard asks. “How many of you are here today?” Tomoyo asks. Usually when they held the private celebration, they will dismiss most of their bodyguard. Only a few will be left, just for their parent not to worry. But right now, Tomoyo kind of regret dismissing their guards.
“Including me, there are only ten of us, my lady.” The guard answers.
“Ok, gather all the other in the training room. Take as mush weapons as you can and guard all the doors. Don’t let any of them in. We’re going to make sure Prince Tatsuya manage to escape first. If worse come to worse, we will fight them to death. Understand?” Tomohisa orders. “Understand my lord.” The guard says before leaving.
“I can fight too, you know. I won’t leave you guys in the middle of the battle.” Tatsuya says at Tomohisa, not quite satisfy of his decision to make him leave.
“I know you can fight, Tat-chan but right now our priority is to get you out to safety. We can’t let those Hunters get to you. You’re too important. And as a leader of your protector, it is my duty to make sure you are safe from any harm.” Tomohisa says. Tatsuya just sighs. He knows it’s no use to argue with Tomohisa when he is in his leader mode.
“Let’s go to my private training room. We need to equip ourselves with weapons too. We can’t just fight them with our elemental powers.” Tomoyo suggests as she walks towards the door. The other three follow Tomoyo to the training room.

“I guess finally I got a chance to use this sword, ne Tat-chan.” Tomoyo says, showing the sword to Tatsuya. The sword was forged by a famous smith as a give to the twin’s father. And when Tomoyo showed interest in fencing, their father gave it to her as a birthday gift. Its turn out that the sword is very compatible with Tomoyo’s elemental power, the water.
“Are you sure you’re going to be ok, Tomo? What about your condition?” Tatsuya whispers worriedly into Tomoyo’s ear. Tomoyo just smile reassuringly at Tatsuya, her hand resting on her stomach. “I’ll be fine Tat-chan. don’t worry about me.”
Tatsuya glances slightly at Tomohisa and Kazuya, both are choosing their own weapon that most compatible with their own elemental power. Tomohisa choose a bow and arrows with a various types of knives while Kazuya has twin sword at his back with knives on him as well.
“Ready Ice, Blade?” Tomohisa calls using their code name. Since their training as a child, they were given a code name so that no one knows who they are. Usually their code name has a linking to their element. As water elemental, Tomoyo’s code name is Ice. Tomohisa is calls Flame since he is Fire elemental. Although Kazuya is an Earth elemental but since he usually uses 2 swords when fighting, his code name is Blade and Tatsuya is Sky as he controls the Wind.
Both Tomoyo and Kazuya nods, as a sign that they are ready for the battle. Now, they are neither sibling nor lover but instead they are warriors, a protector of their Prince.

Ryo is sitting under the big Sakura tree, one of the oldest trees in SakuraPark. Actually, this is also one of his and Tatsuya favourite meeting place. As he sits there, his mind begins to wonder why Tatsuya wants to meet with him. After all, didn’t he say that he will only come back in another two days? Not that he mind of course. Being with Tatsuya, he feels complete. Never before he feels like this with his previous fling. Being with Tatsuya, he can bring out the emotion he never knew exist in him before. He truly and deeply is in love with Tatsuya despite their differences.
As he continues pondering in his thought, he is not aware of a presence behind him. Without him noticing, the figure knocks him up, making him unconscious.
