It’s been two week since Tomoyo and Tatsuya saved Ryo from the amateur Hunters. And it’s also been two weeks since Ryo find out about them being a vampire. And since then, the three of them will be meeting at Tomoyo’s apartment because Ryo’s eagerness to learn about them.
Flashback
Ryo is bewilders when all of sudden the attack on him stop. When he looks up, he sees a man and woman are fighting with his attacker. The he sees something that he never seen before, the woman hisses at his attacker and showing her fangs. That’s certainly not normal. Then, a lot of water comes out of nowhere.
“Sky, I need your windy right now,” Ryo hears the woman says. Why is that voice sounds so familiar, Ryo thinks.
“I’m coming, Ice. Make sure you don’t kill them.” Ryo hears the man says. He sounds like Tatsuya, Ryo says to himself. But that’s impossible right, because I’ve seen Tatsuya fight before and he certainly didn’t do the wind thing when he was fighting with the punk, Ryo continues his monologue as his two saviors cage the amateur Hunters in ice. Suddenly he feels his head getting heavier by the minute and then he completely black out.
When he wakes up, he notices that he is neither in the dark alley nor in the hospital. He looks around him. Apparently, he is in the room or more specifically, a woman room because it has a feminine feeling to it. The room is in soft lavender color with a few paintings on the wall and you could smell the air freshener is in the air. When he sit on his back, his hand immediately to his head because he feels like it’s going to explode.
“Tat-chan, he’s awake.” He hears a woman voice, the same voice that he heard the night before. When he looks up, he sees both Tatsuya and Tomoyo at the door, looking at him, waiting for his reaction. In his mind there are a lot of questions such as what are they? Who are they? Is he dreaming or did it really happened, the fight that he saw last night. So he opens his mouth to ask them but instead, “Do you have any aspirin?” comes out from his mouth. Tomoyo just chuckles and says that she’s going to get it while Tatsuya proceed to sit by the bedside and look intently at Ryo.
End of Flashback
Now sitting on the couch at the living room, they start their questions and answers session. Well, more like Ryo asks the questions and Tatsuya and Tomoyo answer them.
“So, you really didn’t turn into dust if you are exposes to the sunlight?” Ryo asks for the third times. Tatsuya just sighs while Tomoyo giggle at the question.
“For the third time Ryo, no, we do not turn into dust if we are exposed to the sunlight. If we are, then how do you explain the time when we went to Disneyland together?” Tatsuya asks back.
“Yeah, you’re right. Wait, since you are a vampire, is that why you hate the sunlight?” Ryo asks.
“Not exactly. Since we are vampires, we usually have more heightened sense. So, the sunlight sometimes irritates our eyesight.” Tomoyo explains. Suddenly she bolts up after looking at the clock. “Sorry guys, you just have to continue without me. I have a date. Bye Tat-chan, bye Ryo-chan.” And with that, she disappears behind the door.
“Did she just call me Ryo-chan or am I just imagining it?” Ryo asks Tatsuya. Tatsuya smiles slightly at Ryo’s incredulous look.
“Yup, she did call you Ryo-chan. And you better get used to it because you won’t get away with it.” Tatsuya answers. Sighing with resignation, Ryo turns to face Tatsuya and begin his questioning again.
“So, do you really sleep in a coffin…?”

Tatsuya and Ryo are having a date at a café near Tomoyo’s apartment. (In case you are wondering, this apartment is kept as a secret by Tomoyo from her family. So no one except for Tatsuya and Ryo knows about it.) Well, I would like to say it’s a date because the two people who are having lunch here are already in love with each other. But unfortunately, Tatsuya refuses to call it a date because as he told Tomoyo, ‘Ryo and I are not dating so it’s not a date’, even though it has been two month that Ryo knows about them and he and Ryo are definitely becoming closer but Tatsuya still reluctant to admit his own feeling towards Ryo.
“So, you actually not afraid of garlic like they show on the TV?” Ryo asks. Tatsuya shakes his head. “No, it just a silly make believe story. Do you remember when I told you about types of vampires? About those who were turned and those who were born as vampire.” When Ryo nods, Tatsuya continues. “Actually, those who were turned into vampires are the one who hate garlic. It’s because they’re not accustom yet with their heightened senses, while those who were born as vampires like me and Tomoyo has already get used to the smell, so it only irritates us but not to a point that we will avoid it like a plague like those who were turned.” Tatsuya explains.
“Ah, so it’s not true then. Ok, I understand now.” Ryo says, nodding understandingly. And then they continue eating their lunch.

“Are you sure you don’t need to drink blood. You are so pale, Tatsuya.” Ryo exclaims worriedly. They are having breakfast at the café in the Sakura Park that Tatsuya uses to eat. Tatsuya rolls his eyes. Sometimes Ryo can be as protective as his best friends. And he really doesn’t need a protective boyfriend as well. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, now our vampire prince and his favorite human are in a relationship. Actually, today is their 4th month anniversary.
“No Ryo, I’m fine. I don’t need blood right now. I already had it 2 weeks ago and it’s going to be another five and a half month before my next feeding.” Tatsuya says.
“But you’re so pale. You can drink my blood if you need it. I don’t mind.” Ryo suggests.
“I’m always pale, Ryo. Thanks for the offer but I’m not hungry for blood. Right now I just want to enjoy eating breakfast with my boyfriend. Can we do that, Ryo?” Tatsuya asks.
“Yes, sure. Whatever you want, Hime.” Ryo states, smiling. Tatsuya glares lightly at Ryo at his nickname.

Tatsuya walks pass Tomoyo’s room in his private mansion when suddenly he hears someone crying. When he peak in, he sees that Tomoyo is crying on her bed. Tatsuya walks in and sit beside the crying vampire princess.
“Tomo, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?” Tatsuya asks.
“If I tell you, you must promise not to tell anyone yet about it. Especially Pi.” Tomoyo says as she lifts up her face.
“What!? I can’t do that. You’re his sister; I think he should at least aware if something happens to his sister.” Tatsuya exclaims.
“If you’re going to tell Pi then I won’t tell you.” Tomoyo threatened. Tatsuya sighs with resignation before agreeing with Tomoyo. “Ok, I won’t tell Pi about it. And I won’t tell Kazu too because I know Kazu won’t hide anything from Pi. So, what happen? What’s wrong? It must be something big because you rarely cry.” Tomoyo just looks at Tatsuya with her brown eyes full with tears.
“I don’t know how it happens but it did. It supposes to be impossible and forbidden but somehow it happens to me. I don’t know what else to do? And Father will be so mad at me, and Pi won’t talk to me anymore and Takeru will be disappointed with me.” Tomoyo babble as well as crying.
“Tomo, slow down, I can’t understand what’s your babbling about. I’m sure it’s not that bad. Now, tell me what exactly happened?” Tatsuya questions again.
“Tat-chan, I’m pregnant. And it’s Tackey’s.” Tomoyo continues crying. Tatsuya could only gape at Tomoyo.
“What? How? I thought human and vampire can’t reproduce. Wait, that’s mean you slept with him. Uh oh, Pi is going to be so piss off if he knows.” Tatsuya states. Tomoyo just glares at her best friend.
“I know that. That’s why I ask you not to tell him. I don’t want Pi to go and kill Tackey. And I don’t know how it’s happens either. As far as I know, no vampires manage to conceive a child with a human. I never thought it would happen to me. What should I do, Tat-chan?” Tomoyo looks at Tatsuya for guidance. Tatsuya pull his best friend into a hug.
“I don’t know Tomo. The thing is this never happen before. But one thing for sure, I will always support you and I will help you with everything I can. I promise.” Tatsuya says with a soothing voice. Tomoyo murmurs ‘thank you’ at Tatsuya, grateful to have her best friend by her side.
