Feeling like Poop

Jan 18, 2011 18:43

I've been feeling like crap all day. I woke up with a terrible headache, and then when I got up, I felt like I was going to throw up. I haven't thrown up today, but I sure wanted to. I laid in bed most of the day. The kids were really good for me. Evan is so compassionate. He asked if I was sick a lot. And then he asked if I would get him sick. I said that I didn't think it was that kind of sick. Then he asked if he could touch me. So at different times today, he has touched my leg and my arm, but not my head or stomach b/c I told them those felt sick. haha

I think that I may have a kidney infection. I'm not positive on that, and I'm waiting to see if I still feel like poo tomorrow before I go to a doctor. But last time I had a really bad one when I was pregnant with Lauren, I felt sick to my stomach. I've also been peeing a lot, and my lower back is achy.

Kidney problems scare me. Every time something's wrong with my kidneys I worry that I'll have PKD like my mom. and sister. and grandfather. and uncle. *sigh*

I was thinking about my family genes today, and I feel bad for my kids. They suck. We've got PKD on that side, and then my Dad's side has had cancer. And who knows what else? I guess that's what happens when you inbreed.

Ha. I kid.

But, seriously. My Dad's parents were second cousins. It's true.

Evan and Lauren are playing outside on the trampoline. They've been playing so well together lately. here are some things Evan said while playing today that I thought were funny:

"I'm doing my own experiment!"
"It explode!"
"Security! Security!"

He's 4! Where does he learn this stuff? After the last one, he said, "What's security mean?" haha

I gave the kids popcorn (for dinner), and now it's all over the living room floor. They picked up most of it. The rest is vacuum-worthy. How can they make such a huge mess? Evan had put some in his shoe even. What the heck?

I was supposed to return Return of the Jedi to the library today. I guess I'll be paying a late fee. Curses.

Curse you, rebel scum!

I put in Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium for Evan the other day and now he loves it. It makes me happy. He put it in all on his own today, and I think he's about to watch it again. I got the blu-ray for $7! Awesome, huh? I also bought the Princess Bride DVD for $4. Yay for HEB!

We watched Charlie St. Cloud last night, and then I daydreamed about Zac Efron for awhile. haha. I'm sad. Celebrity crushes are okay, right?

Andrew's working late b/c the corporate office is coming tomorrow to audit his plant. Poor guy. He had to cut his hand open the week that he's supposed to be doing all kinds of stuff to get his plant ready. He was changing a florescent light bulb at work, it busted, and he ended up with 5 stitches in his hand. I hate that I got sick when I'm supposed to be taking care of him. :( My poor hubby. I sure do love that guy.

I think I'm gonna go watch TV with the kiddos. Evan says he's watching the "toy store movie." :) I really love that he loves that movie. I think it's a great one.

sick, lauren, evan, kidney infection, celebrities, movies, andrew, family
