I feel like I should write b/c I was writing a lot for awhile, and now I've slacked off. But really it's only been four days since I wrote last. It just feels like forever ago.
The thing is... I don't really have anything to write about.
OH! I know. Exciting news! Andrew, as you may or may not know, (is there a contraction for mayn't? there should be.) is THIS close to graduating. *makes a small space with fingers* He lacks three classes. We were thinking that he would only be able to take one this summer and then finish in the fall. HOWEVER, he has informed me that he has registered for THREE classes this summer!! Two of them are classes that he most definitely needs, but the other one he doesn't. HOWEVER, (it's fun to use that word) he said his classmate told him that the advisor said it could count. So now he just needs to go to the advisor and make sure it counts. And IF that's the case, he could graduate this summer!!
woooooooooooot!
I might just get my husband back sooner than I thought! :D
Other than that, life is pretty blah. I actually considered writing a post about how much I disliked the Glee episode Tuesday b/c they pretty much worshiped Madonna like she's a god and used her as an excuse to lose the "cardinal treasure." And how I really don't think Madonna is that great, and the only reason she's famous is b/c she uses sex to sell her music. But I decided not to. I pretty much just summed it up right there anyway.
I started reading The Neverending Story this week, and even though I was a little unsure about it at first (mostly b/c I remember the movie being cheesy), it's really good. Very good story telling. You should read it, too.
Evan is with his grandparents this weekend going camping. It is so weird with him gone. And I miss him. I just keep seeing things that I want to tell him about. For instance, after I mowed our grass today, I found an inch worm on my shirt. I wished he was there, so I could show him. He would've loved it. Also, I miss that he keeps Lauren occupied, so that she's not following me around crying all the time. haha
She was so cute this morning. I put her in the living room to watch TV and went back to bed (b/c I win at parenting), and I heard her coming back down the hall a few minutes later. I thought she was coming to my room, but she went to Evan's room instead. I thought it was so cute. I don't know if she was looking for him or if she just wanted free reign of his toys, but either way, it was cute.
Have I mentioned that she folds her arms to pray? The first time she did it, I didn't even tell her to. She just did it. It made me feel good. She saw us doing it all the time, so she did it. I AM doing something right.
Speaking of prayers, Evan has started being more creative with his nightly prayers. He usually wants me to say it, but sometimes he'll interject and add someone else that he's thankful for or wants to bless. And sometimes it's not people but things. He prayed for worms the other day b/c he found some and was worried about them dying. I thought it was funny. And sweet. But sometimes when he's interjecting, he thinks it's hilarious and starts laughing. I've tried to tell him that prayers aren't funny, but he still does it. It's funny. He's such a silly boy.
Lauren pulled her shirt over her head today and walked around with it behind her neck. I told her she was too young to be altering her clothes in a slutty way. haha I could see her little scar. Sometimes I kiss it. I don't know why.
Well, I need to go to bed. Andrew actually snuck off to bed without me realizing it. He must've been tired. I sure do love that man. He works so hard for our family. I couldn't ask for a better one.
Whenever I say that, Andrew always says, "Yeah, you could." Okay, yeah, but I wouldn't get one b/c he's the BEST! :)
