I haven't stitched much the last few months. Totally lost my stitching mojo. But then Tracy Horner (Ink Circles) created a great new mandala called Roll Your Own (RYO) with a very active Yahoo group creating some awesome colour ways. I decided I needed a break from all my huge projects. So I've done a bunch of bookmarks (the first four of which I forgot to take pictures of). The first two in the picture are for me and the third was a gift. The designs are from Leisure Arts "Bookmarks Galore" which has 66 patterns in it (Leaflet 2985).

I finished "Growth Rings" this weekend. Chart from the April 2009 issue of Just Cross-Stitch magazine. Stitched on clay 32 ct Lugana evenweave. The main colour is Threadworx overdyed floss (Blue - 1052). For the second colour, I originally started with Threadworx (Pink - 1142). Chart is from Heartland House Designs. It is stitched on a pale blue/white 32 ct evenweave. The fabric doesn't show well in the picture but it looks like a blue sky with ( Read more... )
