Growth Rings
I finished "Growth Rings" this weekend. Chart from the April 2009 issue of Just Cross-Stitch magazine. Stitched on clay 32 ct Lugana evenweave. The main colour is Threadworx overdyed floss (Blue - 1052). For the second colour, I originally started with Threadworx (Pink - 1142). After my WIP#1 report, I decided I didn't like the second colour. It was too pale and I thought that it just got lost against the fabric. So I ripped it out and switched to Thread Gatherer's Silk 'n Colors (Scent of Rose SNC 186). I'm much happier with this combination.
This one went really quickly and I really enjoyed doing it. I am so in love with Ink Circles designs. My next project probably going to be Cirque de Circles.
