Jin’s eyes widened in surprise when Kame didn’t push Ryo away, he even flashed a very bright smile at the one holding him, instead of crying and wailing to be back in Jin’s arms, the one where he truly belonged.

“What’s your name?” Ryo asked the toddler in a cute tone. Though he already knew the answer, it was fun to ask the younger one that. Besides he didn’t know how to start the conversation, asking that question seems perfect enough.

“Ame!!!!”

“How about your full name? Do you know?” Ryo asked once again.

“Full name?” Kame seemed to be in a deep thought, trying to remember his name and when he did, he shouted almost immediately, “Ame Azuya!”

Ryo and Yamapi chuckled.

Jin crossed his arms as he frowned, clearly not happy with the situation. Kame had always wanted Jin, his lover, to carry him and not anyone else so why does it make any difference now? Why is Nishikido Ryo so special that his Kame accepted him warmly?

“Jin, what’s wrong?” Pi noticed that Jin is eerily silent, not speaking a word since just now.

Kame, hearing the mention of Jin’s name, turned to face him. “Jinnnn?”

Jin smiled, shaking his head. “It’s nothing. I was just surprised, that’s all. Usually Kame would cry if he’s being carried by someone else other than me. But Ryo’s different as it seemed …”

“I’m irresistible, it’s obvious isn’t it?” Ryo proudly stated, earning a smack from Jin.

“That’s it! Give me back Kame!!!”

“Hell no, I would!” Ryo started running, Kame gripping the other’s neck tightly, afraid of falling down.

“I’ll tell Uchi that you flirted with Kame!”

“As if Uchi would believe you, he trusts me dearly. Besides getting close to a toddler does not mean flirting! Kame turned into a small kid, for god’s sake!”

“You kissed Kame on the cheeks! It’s flirting alright!”

Yamapi who stood by the corner looked really amused, as of Kame too. He blinked, trying to recall what Jin had just said. “Jin jealous?” Kame asked cutely.

“Why would I be?” Jin tried to deny, glaring at Ryo who was now grinning like mad. “Stop it with that expression!”

“E-yo, Ame want Jin …” Kame reached for Jin, to which Ryo relented and handed the latter to him. Kame wrapped his arms around Jin and kissed him on the lips. “Ame love Jin …” His small fingers cupped Jin as he looked at him lovingly.

Jin’s frown disappeared, replaced by a large smile as he pecked Kame on the lips.

“I love you too.”

Ryo stood next to Yamapi, and crossed his arms. “Somehow the image of an adult and a toddler kissing sounds disgusting. It’s weird. Don’t you think so?” He glanced at his friend.

“Well it’s not weird if it’s the one who you love …”

Ryo smirked. “I guess you’re right.”

The first thing he’s going to do when he reaches home is to kiss Uchi passionately and with love.

-

“Kame, are you ready?” Jin shouted from the kitchen, having just finished washing the dishes. Not receiving any answer, he hurried to the bedroom, only to be met with Kame struggling to put on his t-shirt, pants not worn yet.

“Do you want my help?” Jin patted Kame on the shoulder, flashing him a concern look.

“Jin!” Kame pouted. “Won’t go in!”

He chuckled, pulling the t-shirt out of Kame’s head gently. Kame was not wearing any underwear, Jin realised, causing him to fetch one from the closet instantly. “You have to wear underwear first above all, remember?”

“Ame forgot!!” Kame clamped his mouth.

“It’s okay. You’re just a child.” Jin smiled, helping the toddler with his t-shirt and pants as well. Once he was done, he looked at Kame proudly. “Look how handsome you are now.”

“Jin handsome too!!!”

“Really?” Jin pulled the toddler closer to him, flashing him a cheeky smile. “And, what else?”

“Jin is Ame’s!”

Not able to resist Kame’s cuteness anymore, Jin hugged him happily.

“I’m yours, always.”

-

Since Jin and Kame were early for Nakamaru’s butai that they’re watching, they headed towards Nakamaru’s dressing room, a VIP card hanged around their necks. With Kame on one hand, Jin knocked the door, opening it without even waiting for a response.

“Aru!!!!” Kame waved excitedly, his face hidden by his cap.

“Ah Kame, Jin!!!” Nakamaru walked towards his friends and smiled. “You guys came to watch?”

“Hmm!” Kame nodded, handing him a gift bag. “For you, Aru!”

Nakamaru accepted the bag in confusion, taking a peek what was inside. He beamed when he saw the gift. It was such a lovely present, really!

“It’s from the both of us.” Jin explained.

“Thank you!”

“Aru like it?” Kame’s eyes were big, waiting in anticipation for Nakamaru’s answer.

“I love it! Thank you, you guys!”

“Yay!!!” Kame screamed in delight. “Aru love it, Jin! Aru love present we chose!” Jin could only smile at that as he nodded his head in agreement.

“We’ll be watching then. Good luck.” Jin said, putting back the sunglasses on Kame, correcting the toddler’s cap as well. “Let’s go, Kame?”

Kame nodded. “Aru, ood luck!!!” He waved until they were out of the dressing room.

-

Jin and Kame, heavily disguised, sat in the VIP corner, a place that they wouldn’t be seen by the fans. Kame played with the penlight and other goodies while waiting for the show to start, Jin watching close by.

“Aru!!!!” Kame shouted the minute it started though his small voice were overpowered by the large crowd. “Aru Aru Aruuuuuuuuuuu!!” He waved Nakamaru’s uchiwa excitedly.

Jin smiled, ruffling Kame’s hair.

-

“Kame’s somewhere in the audience. He’s a special guest today.” Nakamaru announced, causing the crowds to go wild at that statement. He purposely left out that Jin’s here too otherwise the audience would go even crazier. What, with AkaKame going out together? Furthermore, Kame had turned into a toddler.

“Call him up to the stage!”

“Ehhhh? No, Kame will steal the limelight from me. I definitely won’t let that happen. This is my show, right?” Nakamaru grinned.

The audiences protested.

“But I can tell you this … that guy gave me a present. That was so sweet of him.”

“Put up on J-web!”

“Hmm, I’ll consider when I have the time.”

Toddler Kame who was watching this MC was smiling from ear to ear, happy that his friend mentioned him. Suddenly feeling tired and sleepy, Kame climbed onto Jin’s lap; burying his head on the latter’s chest and closed his eyes. Jin, who noticed this, patted the little one gently on the back.

Fifteen minutes before the butai ends, Jin left, carrying a sleeping toddler on his arms.

-

Jin will soon have an English interview for Cartoon KAT-TUN, the star being Jodie Foster, so he thought of buying her a gift. So here he was in a shopping complex, with toddler Kame. They had done shopping for Jodie’s gift. They just needed to search a gift for Jodie’s kid and then they can go home.

“What a cute turtle plushy …” Jin whispered, grabbing said green item onto his hand as he pondered whether to purchase it or not. Kame already has one turtle plushy that he himself had given him but still this one is different. Jin nodded his head, putting the plushy into the basket as he smiled.

“Jin! How about this?” Kame ran towards Jin, showing him a box of moving dinosaur.

“Hmm, that’s a good idea! Let’s go pay.” Jin took the toy and headed towards the cashier, not noticing that Kazuya stood rooted to his position, gazing up to a stack of turtle plushies. He bit his lips and frowned.

“Thank you.” Jin thanked the cashier as he received his change. He turned behind only to panic when he realised that Kame was not by his side! Recalling where he had last seen the toddler, Jin hurried to the said place, heaving out a deep sigh of relief when he spotted Kame.

“Kame, don’t scare me like that!” Jin knelt down, hugging him. “Thank god I found you or else I don’t know what to do.”

Kame didn’t answer, looking down on the floor.

“It’s alright now that I’ve found you. Let’s go home.”

Jin lifted Kame up, balancing the boy properly before walking out of the Toy store.

-

Kame was sound asleep, having his afternoon nap. Once Jin had tucked the little one onto the bed, he headed towards the dresser and searched for some sewing items. With the turtle plushie on his other free hand, Jin walked out of the bedroom, making sure to close the door really gently.

-

The minute Kame woke up he entered the living room, excited when he sees Jin making the gift for Jodie Foster, and wanted to help. Halfway through, Kame felt bored so instead of helping Jin till the end, he settled on the couch instead, relaxing.

“It’s done!” Jin exclaimed at one point causing Kame to sit up straight, eyes lightened up.

“Done? Ame want see! Jin, Ame want see!!”

“Then come here, sweetheart.” Jin said sweetly.

“Hmm!” Kame got off the couch almost immediately, as he stood behind Jin, looking at the finished product. His lips quavered the second his eyes lied on the words ‘I love Jodie’, his body starts to shake, tears threatening to fall down.

“What do you think?” Jin asked.

Kame ran to a corner of the living room, and squatted down. The toddler hugged his small legs to his chest as he cried. Not expecting that reaction from the younger one, Jin rushed towards him, the gift forgotten. What was important was Kame, nothing else.

“Kame, sweetheart. What’s wrong?”

“Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah ….”

“Kame ...” Jin whispered worriedly, his hand on Kame’s shoulder.

“Jin don’t love Ame … anymore! Jin luv Odie!!! Not Ame …” Kame wailed loudly.

“Kame …” Jin finally understood the reason why Kame suddenly burst into tears. Getting up from his position, he quickly went to their bedroom to fetch something. Thinking that Jin did not care about him anymore, Kame cried even louder.

“Hey there, little boy, why are you crying?”

A turtle plushy appeared in front of Kame’s face, causing him to stop crying and stared at it.

“This is for you. I wouldn’t leave the toy store without buying you anything, would I?”

Kame accepted the plushy hesitantly, hugging it tightly.

“My love for you is different. I know that I’ve written ‘I love Jodie’ on the gift but that’s only a love towards a Hollywood celebrity, not more than that. For me, Kame meant everything to me, you’re my world, you’re the reason I am breathing and alive now. Because of you, I look forward to each day very much.”

“Really?” Kame sniffed, looking up to Jin.

Jin nodded. “See, Jin love Kame, always …” He pointed towards the sewn message on the plush turtle.

Jin love Kame, forever.

“No one can ever replace you in my heart so don’t worry about losing me, okay? I love you, Kame. You know that, right?”

Kame’s eyes shined with tears once again as he threw his arms around Jin, the turtle plushy crushed in between them. “Ame love Jin too … so much …”

Jin heaved a sigh of relief, glad that Kame finally understood.

“Jin, Ame sorry …” The toddler pulled away from their hug and looked at Jin.

Jin shook his head and flashed him a gentle smile, “Its okay. No hard feelings from me.” With that, he engulfed Kame into a hug.

-

At night, Kame snuggled on the couch with Jin, his hands holding the turtle plushy, the both of them watching television together. They were so focused on the screen in front of them that they did not realise the doorbell had been ringing. The sound died seconds later, only to be replaced by the ringing of Jin’s cell phone.

“Hmm, hel …”

“Open the damn door, bakanishi!!! How long do you expect us to wait out here?”

Jin cringed, bringing the phone a distance away from his ear. His ear hurt badly by the loud voice on the other line. He frowned. Why does that voice sound so familiar? He even mentioned ‘us’ so does that mean there’s more than one person standing in front of the doorsteps now ….?

“Oii, bakanishi!”

“Ryo …”

Jin sped off to the front door, leaving toddler Kame puzzled, following behind him. He opened the door, to find Ryo … and Uchi, their hands intertwined. He had expected Ryo but not Uchi too. That explains Ryo’s words then.

“Why the hell did it take you so long?” Ryo complained, getting inside the apartment, Uchi in tow.

“Shouldn’t I be the one to feel irritated?” He murmured.

“Jin?”

Uchi turned to the direction of the voice and blinked, rubbing his eyes to make sure that he was not dreaming. Sure, the reason why Ryo and he were here was because he wanted to meet chibi Kame badly but still it was hard to believe it.

“Kawaiii.” Uchi exclaimed the minute he realised the reality. He squatted down in front of Kame and handed out his hand warmly towards the toddler. “Good evening.”

Kame looked from Uchi to the adults standing and back to Uchi again, suddenly remembering who he was. “Chii!!!!!” He smiled brightly, accepting the handshake.

Ryo laughed, amused at Uchi’s nickname.

“At least it’s not as bad as E-Yo.” Jin crossed his arms and smirked. “Sounds like Yo-Yo …”

Ryo glared at Jin hard.

“You’re so cute!” Uchi lifted chibi Kame up, unable to resist a kiss on the cheeks. “If only Ryo-chan turned into a toddler, it’d be fun, ne …” He whispered to the toddler who grinned at that sentence.

“E-Yo?” Kame giggled.

“Oii, didn’t you just see? Uchi kissed Kame on the cheeks! Why aren’t you angry?” Ryo looked at Jin in disbelief, the latter seemed so calm. There was not even a trace of jealousy on his face.

“Uchi’s not a threat.” Jin said nonchalantly then turned to face his friend. “You are.”

Ryo frowned. “You really are a Bakanishi.”

“Well I am Kame’s Bakanishi …”

Jin smiled idiotically.

Author’s Note: Okay, this fic is delayed more than two days. I started writing late but I managed to finish within the first week of year 2009. Readers, please come up with plot bunnies for this fic! I seriously ran out of those, and I have no idea what to write anymore. I’m not joking. So if you have plot bunnies, please PM me? I’m going to put my multi-chapter fics a halt for awhile. I need to write one-shots after this. I owe a few people one-shots.

I’m also opening requests for one-shots (but you must provide me with a detailed summary), the pairings that I would accept are Akame, RyoUchi, TakkiTsuba, Yamaki (Yamapi and Maki) and Maotsujun (Mao and Jun). Genre can be angst or fluff, preferably not AU, but I’ll try my best if it is.
