I'M SITTING IN MY BACKYARD ON THE GRASS NEAR THE WILDFLOWER GARDEN WITH MY CATS
ohhh the wonder of extension cords.
ANYWAY. God today is so fucking nice, I got to wear sandals for the first time ever! And my stupid hat with a billion tiny pockets which are too small even to put mice in. Naturally the weather means that I can hear awful fucking music from here because our house is snugly nestled in the midst of A BILLION FRATERNITIES and they are all out on their lawns not wearing much watching ladies go by and drinking beer and playing really loud awful music.
OH WELL YOU CAN'T WIN 'EM ALL I SUPPOSE
perhaps I can counter this with some of my own music.
SO BUT -- fuck
it is so nice out
Um but yeah about my dad -- he is doing ok. He went in to see his doctor and had a bunch of tests yesterday, and he is having more tests later this week. Mainly we are just keeping an eye on him and stuff. Thanks everyone for your support and stuff <3
MAN ALSO, I was totally confused on my way home today because there were about FIVE BILLION HUMANS around, and at first I was like, perhaps this is because of the weather? But then I remembered that also it was Hash Bash and apparently someone had thought that it was a good idea to schedule U of M tours AS WELL which meant there were a lot of clumps of vaguely confused looking high school students being led around with name badges on and stuff
Besides you know, the usual... booths for things and people in outrageous costumes and balloons and groups handing out pamphlets and protesting a... variety of... things
Quite loudly.
There was this one group of people all dressed in matching t-shirts marching around preventing students from entering the Fishbowl and chanting stuff but I could not really work out what they wanted because they kept being like

EDIT: Oh man I forgot to say, I got the redo the chalkboard sign at work today, because it was still like COME IN FROM THE SNOW!!!
So I wrote "SPRING ON IN AND CHECK OUT OUR NEW CLOTHES!!!!!"
This pleased me a whole lot in general because I hardly ever get to write horrible puns on things in semi-public places, but then I realized I was getting paid to write that and then I was REALLY pleased. :'D Also I drew a lot of flowers on it. I was going to add a rabbit but I did not have room. That was pretty much the only disappointing thing that has happened to me all day.
