Today I did dishes and laundry after trowa_barton and Xander left in the morning. Then I lay down with a heating pad for my back and an ice pack for my knee and conked out for 2 hours. After I woke up, I showered and dressed, took out the recycling, returned kimberlogic's dress to her (lately borrowed by bedfull_o_books, who gave it to me to give to K) and went to pick up thespian. I woke up this morning to find my right knee gefukt once more. My useless superpower -- being able to injure myself in my sleep -- had struck again! And I still managed to be more useful than Republicans, because I:

• Drove my guys to work/daycare
• Iced my knee for a while

In previous years I have been inclined to observe Buy Nothing Day over joining the frenzied hordes of bargain-hunters looking for Black Friday doorbusting deals.
