So, that was my trip to Indonesia. I feel like all I've written couldn't possibly do my experiences full justice, and sometimes wish I could just jack a USB cable into my head so that I could simply download all my sensory memories. We've just passed Japan's Hokkaido Island. It's nighttime, and I can see Orion above and little green and white lights in the water below. Our last full day in Indonesia. G.'s friend, Mia, wouldn't be able to meet us until noon, so we slept until mid-morning, had a leisurely breakfast and informal review of the week's work, and went to the Sarinah shopping mall in search of facials. Ahhh...I got to sleep until 10:00 a.m. today. Bliss! Judicious application of earplugs blocked out not only the 5:00 a.m. blast of the call to prayer, but also some appalling karaoke that plagued our meeting last night and could be heard through our room's walls.
