Spring has sprung

Container Garden 2011 a photo by halogencat on Flickr.
I love the warmer weather and longer days of spring! Last week, I got to spend some time in the yard, and got my container garden planted. I went for purple and yellow flowers this year, and chose some perennials that I hope I can keep around. I'm especially in love with the calla lily by the door. I really hope it makes it.

Knitting progress on the Blue Steel blanket for Danger is slow but steady. I'm about 70% finished. Unfortunately, I have fingers itchy with startitis- there are about 15 other projects that I want to cast on right now. I have no idea how to pick which one will be next.

I start back to work on the 28th, and I'm feeling rather torn about it. I'm looking forward to working again and getting out of the house regularly. It will be hard to send Danger to daycare, though. It will be so weird to only see him a few hours a day. I'm sure we will get a routine going that works for our family, but the transition is sure to be strange.
