The weather is getting warmer, and my flowers are starting to push their little shoots above the ground. I've already seen the green tips of daffodils, crocus, hyacinths and daylilies. I love spring blooms. They are so happy, and they help get ready for longer days of sunshine. I do need to get out into the yard to prune my gardenias and gold dust acuba before it gets too warm, and throw some fertilizer on the azaleas before March.
Indoors is full of blooms as well. I have two orchids blooming and a third with new buds. My Christmas amaryllis still has flowers too.
Speaking of growing, Danger is getting bigger by the day. He has outgrown his newborn clothes and his little cheeks have filled out some. The best thing is that he has started smiling at me. He is a cheerful little kid, and seems to enjoy looking at the dogs and bright pictures. However, he has not learned to take out the garbage or make sandwiches yet, so we have to work on that.
