These are ten fics I've written over the past few years the are women-centric (primarily female POV; storylines are all centred around women). I hope you enjoy them :). I've had a lot of fun scrolling through this comm now that I've found it.
The Company Series - Kage Baker
Entartete Kunst, Van Drouten; G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply, but takes place in the Netherlands during the Nazi occupation and deals with issues brought up by that (including mentioned child death from illness).
Summary:
Van Drouten and the Second World War. Based on the quote: "She'd sheltered so many Jewish children from the Nazis."
Fringe
Cleanliness and Hard Work, Astrid Farnsworth; G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
A short introspection into how Astrid views herself and the lab. (Just after season 2, Ep 9, "Snakehead")
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
The Next Dragon, Mei Chan, Xiao Mei; G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
There will be a time, soon, with the Chan name is itself reason to proffer respect. Pre-canon.
Gundam Wing
As The Trees Love Water, Relena Darlian/Peacecraft, Mrs. Darlian; G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
The best advice comes from those who know who you are (who've walked this path before). Relena and her mother, in vignettes. (Framing story is post-canon.)
MCU
Keep Your Knees Bent; Roll With It (Or: Darcy's Job Situation is Complicated), Darcy Lewis (crossover with Doctor Who, so River Song and an OFC UNIT agent make cameos); G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
Previous experience with aliens is becoming very marketable in the current job environment.
All Darcy's looking for is a place to fit in. (Crossover with Doctor Who, with Darcy as a previous Companion.)
the radio plays just the perfect song, Darcy Lewis (Clint Barton shows up as a secondary POV, but his storyline only really exists to complicate Darcy's plot; OTP Darcy Lewis/Music); T for some bad language; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
"Basically, I've been stymied in finding my iPod and now it's my personal quest, and I don't know if I can track down the owner without using the work databases but I'm not really sure that's allowed."
Coulson stares at her for a long moment, and Darcy hasn't often felt daunted but currently she's like a six on a scale from one to Sir Robin (and his minstrels). "Stymied?"
"It's a more epic way to say not finding it's offended me, and now it's super-personal."
--
A fic about Darcy and her first year with SHIELD. (And tangentially about how Clint should be more cautious when leaving things around the office.)
we thought (wrong), Natasha Romanoff; Teen for Non-Archive Warnings in note -- please read the author's note, and be safe; Gen; No AO3-specific warnings apply.
Summary:
"Clint's one of your closest friends," her counselor says. "It's okay to be worried about his feelings changing."
"But they shouldn't," Natasha says, on the heels of that. "Because -" the idea gets muddled up in words, for a long few moments, and Elle patiently outwaits her confusion. "Well, he's my friend, not-- I didn't - it wasn't on purpose."
--
After Clint brought Natasha into SHIELD, they had sex. Three years later, she deals with the fallout.
Princess Tutu
En Pointe, Rue(/Kraehe); G; background het; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
Rue and the problem of 'happily ever after.'
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles
though the fig tree does not bud; Sarah Connor; G; Gen; No AO3 warnings apply.
Summary:
Sarah Connor is alone, now, but her work isn't done.
The Thief Series - Megan Whalen Turner
The Princess of Eddis; Eddis(/Helen), Attolia(/Irene) (as children and adults); G; Gen; No AO3 Warnings apply.
Summary:
Helen's only experiences with princesses come from herself and the histories. She liked herself well enough, but all of the princesses from the histories seemed pretty different from each other. Some of them she didn't think she'd get along well with at all.
