Linking to a few of my fics about the female characters in the Avengers movie-verse.
Title:
Of Agents And AssholesCharacters: Jane Foster, Natasha Romanoff
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Notes: Someone asked for Jane and Natasha talking about "Jane and Natasha talk about inclusion, exclusion, how Coulson can be a jerk sometimes (though in a different way from Fury) and getting the job done."
Summary: Jane forgets small things - like meals and bedtimes, and occasionally showers and makeup, and once clothes, because she'd just gotten out of the shower when her laptop beeped with the results of the latest data run.
Title:
Give A Girl A Moment And She'll Take You For All You've GotCharacters: Maria Hill, Natasha Romanoff, Jane Foster, Pepper Potts, Darcy Lewis
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: violence
Notes: Written for an off-hand prompt left by a friend, this turned into something rather more. I wanted to write a story where the girls were in trouble and got to save themselves instead of having to wait for the (male) cavalry.
Summary: Coulson had once made the observation that Darcy Lewis’ ability to beg, bribe, or bully people into her plans was almost a superpower in and of itself. Considering she was walking down a tattered Tribeca street with four women she either barely knew or didn’t socialise with for drinks on a Friday night, Maria could well believe it.
Title:
A Woman Of EdgesCharacters: Maria Hill, Steve Rogers, assorted characters from the Avengers
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Notes: Fleshing out Maria Hill as a character, and writing a pairing that I never expected to grab me quite as hard as it has.
Summary: "I’m beginning to think you’re the most terrifying woman I’ve met." Learning to like, live with, and love Maria Hill.
Title:
Known By Its FlightCharacters: Natasha Romanoff, Maria Hill
Rating: PG-13
Warnings: None
Notes: Natasha & Maria friendship.
Summary: SHIELD does not make weapons of its women - or, as Barton has observed with greater accuracy, SHIELD does not make weapons like Natasha out of their women. That doesn't mean a woman can't choose to make a weapon of herself.
Title:
Even Assassins Trip SometimesCharacters: Pepper Potts, Natasha Romanoff
Rating: G
Warnings: None
Notes: A short little piece post-movie.
Summary: Pepper offers Natasha an apartment and a job.
