Things that I'm working on
Thing 1: Horseback riding continues to be AWESOME. It is quite possibly the best thing I've ever decided to do. Right up there with the day I started writing and the day I went back to school. The only bad thing is that I'm broke, people, and this is one expensive hobby. But, where there's a will, there's a way.
Thing 2: I'm working on balancing my love for fandom, for TV shows, for writers of TV shows, for this wacky industry where people *really* love the sound of their own voice (actually, that goes for fandom as well) with my strong desire to chuck it all in the rubbish bin.
Thing 3: I'm working on my story for the dw_femslash! I'm still so new to writing DW that I was pretty much putting it off and putting it off and putting it off until I realized yesterday that it was due next week. d'oh! Anyhoo, wrote over 400 words last night. woo.
Thing 4: Okay, maybe I'm not *working* on this, exactly but I have been thinking about just how much a tool Sarah Palin is. This is what I find really deeply annoying, the reverse feminism, the fact that her gender is a tool. It makes me sad and upset.
Thing 5: I've been working all summer on some personal stuff. Sorry to be so oblique, but it's really boring. *g* Anyhoo, small steps and you eventually get there.
