ksdjfhsdkfs I know exactly what you mean about being a Democrat here. I edited my last post with a really similar sentiment. I'm trying hard not to let the pessimism become fear for how things will be -- even though Obama is all about hope, it's still hard here! But I hope and want to believe it's all uphill from here.

I think it will always be hard to be a Democrat in Oklahoma, but I think that nationally it is definitely going to get better. And that a lot of those changes will improve things here.

Please remember that bipartisanship requires both parties to work. Democrats have been bitching for all eight years, so don't deny us the right to defend our ideals all the same during Obama's term.

I do know that. You have every right to defend your ideals, everyone does. What bothers me is the ones (on both sides) who are so hell bent on getting what THEY want that they refuse to even try to find a compromise
