Summer stuff
Some of you may notice that I just changed my LJ theme. It used to be "grapevine" which was dark purple and green. Now it's lighter and greener. I need to get away from the dark side for a while, so I'm trying to get more focused on positive stuff in my life. Hope you like it.
I just turned in my last paper from the spring...I actually have NO assignments for the next couple of weeks. So I should get started on my screenplay, so that I will be ahead of the game next fall.
My backyard has a big bunch of red and yellow lantana, and a female ruby-throated hummingbird visits regularly. I've been trying to get a photo, but she don't hold still for long and not close enough! The butterflies are nice, and I've gotten a pic or two of them.
Evan and I are headed to Iowa next week; we're visiting an old friend and the Iowa state fair. Looking forward to the trip; I have a new CD player in my car and it will take a plugin from Evan's iPod, so we should have fun.
