Shockerfest is a horror/fantasy/sci-fi film festival held in Modesto (or thereabouts) every year. This is the first year I went. I think I will definitely make plans to attend again next year. These are all independent films and shorts.

Got back late Saturday from a 7 day (was supposed to be 4) excursion with my best friend's family in So. Cal. Details later. I'm still very very tired though. Didn't get a chance to write fic while I was gone. Missed reading it. But at least I got to watch a lot of old school Dr. Who with Tyler (my best friend's son).

A bunch of us went to a Scottish Games thing in Livermore on Sunday and I got COOKED. That is, I'm totally sunburned. My face was swollen and blistered this morning and I've never had a sunburn *hurt* so much I don't think. I mean, disporportionate (sp?) to how burned it looks ( Read more... )
