Love you Hobbits!
Did I just accidentaly post a blank LJ entry? Sorry, I'm not the LJ guru I hope to be - what with having no access at home and virtually no access at school. I'm working on it.
Sub and I have been diligently listening to my Birthday CD. I love it. Thank you so much! Sub particularly loves "Blame Canada" and has been playing it repeatedly. I like the Bilbo song immensely, and the RHCP song and the I think it's Guster but I'm not quite sure because it doesn't exactly sound like Guster song. And Mr. Bojangles reminds me of being little, so that's quite cool. I'm finding it fascinating to speculate upon WHY ON EARTH you chose some of the songs you did, and they all are fun and quite hobbity. I'm so glad I have hobbits, and think I am the only teacher in the world who has them. I'm so fortunate!
Ryan, please teach me how to add people onto my "Friends" list. Not that it matters, because I don't often check the friends, mostly because, well, even if I'm cool, you don't want a teacher-y person peering in on your personal "bidnezz", and in actuality, I think I don't want to know most of the stuff you talk about. I have nice, quiet, innocent hobbits in my mind - I don't want to know about your evil, mischevious, teenage rebellion moments. Too scary.
I'm sad for Meghann. Though I have no personal words of wisdom or sisterly advice, I have been there, and it sucks a lot for awhile, then, suddenly, it's okay again. Isn't it nice that it works that way? I did go buy you an "I'm sorry you got dumped" present today, though. It's very you. I'll bring it tomorrow.
Anyway, I just wanted to tell y'all that I love my CD, and that hobbits are the best, and though pieces of your lives are crap right now, you are truly the coolest bunch of people I know, and I'm honored to be associated with you. Even though you make me insane half the time, where would I be without you?
