POI Episode 2x03

Oct 20, 2012 22:33

I got to watch the episode yesterday, after having to wade through a heap of broken links. Funny, I thought it would be easier to find a working link for an ep which has only just been aired. No matter though - it was definitely worth the hassle. :)

[Beware of Spoilers]
Loved this ep! :)

Hey there, new intro! Love that Carter and Fusco are part of it now, but that pic of John... uhm. I liked that part more in the old intro.

I &heart; Bear! It was so much fun to see Harold and Bear sniffing at each other and getting closer. :) Harold stands absolutely no chance against those trusting puppy eyes. *g*

Thank you, show, for not only realizing that injuries need time to heal, but emotional trauma as well. Harold's hand was still bandaged and his panic attack was very realistic and something I've never seen in a series before. I'm really happy with the way they're dealing with the aftermath of Harold's kidnapping in this ep!

I loved John's reaction when Harold told him he couldn't come - you could tell John could guess exactly what was going on and didn't want Harold to feel bad about it. It was great how patient John was with Harold in this ep, never pressing him into doing anything he wasn't comfortable with, even though it was obvious Harold was far from alright.

John telling Sophia that he was lost, too, and someone found him (knowing that Harold was listening)? *dies* So. Much. Love!!!

Carter, would you please tell John and Harold about Snow and Corwin already? You're making me nervous and being secretive about this might not be good for your health, not to mention it might bring up certain lingering trust issues again.

I loved that John managed to lure Harold out of the library in the end (that smile!!! *dies again*). I guess there's no way to not feel safe when you're flanked by John on one side and Bear on the other. *happy sigh*

Btw, I liked the case, too. I did like Sophia (though I never thought I'd ever say that from the way she got introduced, lol), I liked John outfoxing the other bodyguards, I enjoyed the scene where Carter got to shoot a bad guy for once (I'm beginning to think she's been around John too long :D), and Fusco risking his life for Sophia was great, too. It's also nice to see that Snow finally seems to be getting a taste of his own medicine (ha!), though I'm not sure if Stanton will turn out to be worse than even him in the end. At least I don't see her having any motive for killing off Reese (yet).

I already can't wait for next week! :D
