Had a weird conversation with my dad about how he might build his own coffin when he retires. Wasn't sure if I wanted to ask if that could be a father/son project... might be sort of weird. I wanted to go get a new duffel bag today but realized the sale will still be there tomorrow and, while I don't think REI will be particularly crazy today, I'd rather not drive near Rosedale. Once again, I overslept/forgot about my plan to go to Bloomington and just walk around the MOA around 9 or 10am. Maybe next year ( Read more... )

Is it a sign of a good singer/songwriter that, after listening to their slow songs, I wish I was going through a difficult breakup so that I could feel all cathartic? Probably not... or something deep about the importance of conveying emotion through song. This is getting stupid so I'm going to start over.
