I got a perfect score on the reading section of the THEA, which is above and beyond what I needed.  I emailed my advisor to see if  my GPA was high enough to get in, and got this back...

When I walked into my Media Planning class yesterday, the prof told us that he looked at the statistics, and found a few questions to be statistically unfair.  For that, he gave us a 10 point curve, which boosts my grade to a B.  Very exciting.

I got my Media Planning test back today, and here are a few stats...

The class average was a 58, with a standard deviation of 9.82.  This means that a large percentage of scores fell within approximately 10 points above or below the average.

There were no B's.

Someone in my row got a 23, and there are rumors that there were grades lower than that...

Yeah, so that Media Planning test I was stressing over has been postponed until Tuesday.  I was sitting outside the room going through my flashcards when the dept secretary came through the hall.  She asked if I was in 3305, I said yes.  She was like oh, well your class has been canceled and showed me the sign.  Lovely ( Read more... )

So I went and registered for classes on Wednesday morning. Afterwards, I went to go set up a payment plan at the Student Business office. They told me that I had til Friday to pay, and I said that would be wonderful since I got paid on Friday.
