(no subject)
Maybe March. I waited too long to call Suntrust and they're wrapping up hiring on a class. I should have known to call earlier, but you know how it goes.
So she said she'd check a couple things and she might try to contact me about a class starting in March.
She said that there would be a "Customer Care" position open and I said I thought that's what I would be more interested in than sales anyway. But there would be some of both.
So... hopefully I won't be forgotten. Which gives me another month at Wal-Mart. Plenty of time to plan on giving 2 weeks notice. But I won't do that until I get confirmation that they will hire me and at a significant enough raise from what I'm making now.
I went and got my driver's license changed. It was about an hour wait. But at least it only cost an hour and $8.
And the repair guy has been here for the hot water. I heard him on the phone with Buckner saying something about the wires were burned. I don't really know what that means... if it's something we did (hope not!) or if it's just that the wiring is bad... I don't know. But he's replacing it.
the cats are locked up in our bedroom for now because the air mattress is still inflated in the spare bedroom and I didn't want locked up kitties to take out their frustration on the air mattress.
I stopped at Perk Up on my way home from the driver's license place since I had some cash left over. I really enjoyed it. The guy kind of creeped me out with how he just strikes up a conversation. But he was nice enough. And the drink was really good this time. last time I went I wasn't impressed. But I thought I'd give them another shot. I want to try a cold drink from them sometime to see if they use the real espresso for that as well since the other shops in town use powdered mixes for their frozen drinks.
