Well, an update for those that are interested.

Michael's broken his spine iat his c1 (just below the skull) his c7 (just as the neck merges with the spine.) Both of these are relativly minor, and have had no effect on the spinal cord what so ever. So, he's stuck in a solid neck brace for the next 4-6 weeks.
