Shame!
Well, must be I work best under pressure, and OY! Will there ever be pressure if I don't get my copious rear in gear tomorrow. I've got major company coming this Tuesday. Mina, and the kids are coming from Ohio. Joce got accepted at Syracuse( YAY! You go girl! ), and has an appointment with someone there. So, we'll hang out on Tuesday when they'll arrive after driving all night, and I need to get the beds all made up this weekend. Monday, I'll be at the club. So, it's tomorrow or I'm screwed.
Got lots of napping done today, but it's been a big week, and I needed the sleep.
My new bedding from Domestications came just in time. I have enough pillows and sheets for everyone.
I just made the yummiest dinner: Guavmom's Eggs Foo Yung. I put in peas, broccoli slaw, onion, and diced tofu. It was delicious with the brown rice and sauce I concocted. Plus, there's leftovers for brefest!
Haahah! Dad called and he sounds so damned good, and together. He even remembered eggs foo yung. When I told him what I was having for supper he commented that he hadn't had that in years, which shows me that he remembers what they are. I wonder if he's on a new med, cause he sounds sharper than he has in a long time. Hmmm....makes me wonder. He's beem so delightful since his stint in the hospital. He's very happy with his new aide. I'm overjoyed to hear him sounding so good. You just can't imagine.
