It hadn't been a problem for Dimitri to escort Lissa and Yuri back to Montana; it just meant he was in for a long day making the round trip just in time to meet up with Adrian at Caritas.
Dimitri had only paused a few minutes at the Academy to check in with Alberta (and learn that he'd be making a special trip to Court soon) before catching a ride back to the airport. In no time it seemed he was once again sitting at a gate in Chicago, waiting patiently for his flight to Fandom to board.
Honestly, there wasn't anything to do beyond napping, people-watching, or reading. Clearly Dimitri chose the third option.
It was his way of reclaiming a bit of normalcy after the weekend.
