After two uneventful flights, including a mostly neutral layover, it was still a relief to finally be safely established in Lissa's hotel suite in Fandom. Dimitri and Yuri had performed the requisite sweeps and reviewed the exit and support plans Dimitri had prepared in advance for accuracy.
Once safety measures were in place, Dimitri had excused himself to place a call, and now all that was left to do was wait for Rose to arrive. Things were going more smoothly than Dimitri could have ever expected. Because this was Fandom, he had to wonder how long that would last.
