i really should update
footloose was great, i'm sad it's over, but it was good to be back on stage.
jay and i took a vacation back to nc for a week and a half. went and hung out with mom thurs-sun. helped go through a lot of old books of hers, grandma's and matt and i's. loved on koho, who's getting too old. i'm scared for her.
then we spent the rest of the week in morganton, where jay got a printing press for free, spent a day in banner elk, seeing stan and the gang before he went back to the navy, and spent a day in asheville.
school started up again with jay moving to the atlanta campus for his final year. i'm still here in savannah, and i've been busy. i've started thinking about the future after he graduates and have been putting my feelers out for new opportunities. as long as i have an income, though, i'm not going to give it up.

saturday 9/8 - curtis zimmerman - kind of cheesy, but a nice guy
sunday 9/9 - tom deluca - hypnotist - amazing guy, got to spend most of the day with him and had gelato for dessert!
monday 9/10 - bernie mcgrenahan - comedian, had a good audience
tuesday 9/11 - luau (my night off)
wednesday 9/12 - spiderman stuntman chris daniels - CASI! he was also in a shit ton of buffy and angel episodes - he was the first vampire to stab buffy - a tock 'n' roll vampire. plus, he's hot. like, way hot. he did a lecture and some stunts and then we screened the third spiderman
thursday 9/13 - robbie printz - comedian (my night off)
saturday 9/15 - fall fest - my club and org fair went wonderful, the concert kinda blew (matt nathanson)
this week, we've got postsecret blogger frank warren coming (tomorrow!) so excited. and we're also showing a talladega nights and blades of glory double feature on thursday.
work's been busy - i've basically been told i'll never advance in my position as long as one of our current adminstrators is there, so i'm keeping my head down and kicking ass in the jobs that i do (though not paid for). my lease is up monday, but i've found an affordable place to live with two other girls since jay's moved out.
don't worry, jay and i are great, he's just finishing up his degree.
that's kind of my life at this moment. keeping busy, underpaid and unappreciated (except by jay who got me awesome shoes at the austin city limits festival this weekend!). we hit a rough patch a bit ago, but i think we're going to be fine.
