In the past, I have donated money to the Boy Scouts of America. I did it because I'm an Eagle Scout, have very fond memories of my time in the organization, and think they are doing a lot of good in the lives of countless boys. My good friend Dave was presented with the 2009 Freedom Prize, which is given to a student every year. His essay was chosen as the winner. He wrote about gay rights, calling it an easy issue to fix (it is). I love his essay. He did such an amazing job.
