Coming-out question
Here's a question I'd like to hear people's thoughts on: if a kid's parents are married and the kid comes out to only one parent, is it acceptable for that parent to tell the other?
I can see both sides on this; when I was fifteen my mom told my dad I'd said I was bisexual, and I got really mad at her because I hadn't wanted to tell him. On the other hand, I can understand now as an adult that it's generally not good for spouses to keep secrets from each other and that my mom probably needed someone to talk to about her feelings. What are other people's opinions?
